The Bacchanal Spring Concert is an annual event for undergraduate students who attend one of the four undergraduate schools at Columbia University (Columbia College, Columbia Engineering, Barnard College and the School of General Studies). Past performers have included Lupe Fiasco, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Snoop Dogg, Chainsmokers.


Tickets


There are a maximum of 4,000 tickets available to order.


Undergraduate Student Tickets


Only one ticket permitted per student on a first-come, first-serve basis. Any students who order more than one ticket will not be refunded. The name used to order your ticket must match the name on your CUID or BCID. You may only purchase one ticket for the event, either a Low Plaza ticket or a Lawn ticket. Do not attempt to order two tickets. Tickets are non-transferrable.

On the day of the event, students will need to check-in on Van Am Quad, outside of Wallach, Hartley and John Jay Halls between 09:0am and 12:00pm to receive a wristband. Wristbands are required for entry into the event. Wristbands will only be given to the student whose name was entered during the ticket order process. You must show your CUID or BCID when picking up your wristband.


Refunds

If you have already bought a Low Plaza ticket and would like to cancel your ticket, so that it can be made available to other students, you may do so by going into your Eventbrite account and requesting a refund now through 12 noon on Tuesday, March 31st. Please note, your cancellation will not be confirmed until the following business day. If you choose to cancel your Low Plaza ticket, you are not guaranteed a ticket on the West Field/Butler Lawn. All tickets are first-come, first-served. Please note, EVERYONE who had previously paid for a $7 ticket will receive refunds automatically the week after the concert. The above cancellation option is only for people who don’t want to be registered at all for a Low Plaza ticket that they previously purchased.

Only one ticket per undergraduate student. Any students who attempt to order tickets under different names, unis, email addresses, etc will not be refunded, their tickets will be released with no prior notice. Students are required to register under the name that is on their CUID or BCID and are required to bring their ID with them to receive a wristband the morning of the event.

Wristbands are non-transferrable. Any wristbands that have been tampered with after wristband check-in will result in no entry.

FAQs

Are there ID requirements to enter the event?

Yes. In order to enter the event, you must have your CUID and you must be wearing your wristband.

What can/can't I bring to the event?

Bottles or any vessels containing liquids are not permitted into the concert space and must be discarded prior to entry.

Small personal items such as wristlets and waist packs no larger than 11.5”X4.5”X3” are permitted, but are strongly discouraged to maintain a smooth entrance process. Such items will be subject to a bag check prior to entering the concert space.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

Tickets and Wristbands are non-transferrable. The student who ordered the ticket will be the only person allowed to receive a wristband.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No. However it is required that you bring your CUID or BCID with you during wristband pickup, and you must have your ID with you when entering the venue. The name that you use to order your ticket must match your CUID or BCID for proper verification.

What is the refund policy?

Tickets are non-transferrable.

The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?

Absolutley not. The name on the ticket order must be the same as what is on the CUID, BCID ID.
